My Secret to a perfect face canvass

I have been searching for a perfect foundation to use on my clients and I have found a few that I have been using ever since. I am a fan of Revlon Photoready Two way powder and Maybelline Mineral Power but I am not that satisfied. I usually battle with caking and drying up. The finish was not that flawless even if I damped the sponge I used to apply the foundation.
I knew it was not complete at all. I need to find something besides foundation to create a perfect canvass.
I finally found the solution in a very tiny unattractive counter of Cinema Secrets in SM North Edsa. I was actually looking for a setting spray to keep my makeup long lasting even in the most humid weather. The sales lady actually gave me a moisture spray after I described the item that I really need! When I got home I was really upset that this product was not for setting makeup. They sure included in the label that it can be used after the whole makeup to set it and I have tried it but did not work. So, I thought I wasted my money for this! The sales lady clearly did not know what she was doing.
So, I disregarded this product and moved on… But then they have included in the label that it is best to use the product to dampen the sponge before you apply foundation. One time, I did my foundation following the instruction on the label. I sprayed the product on my sponge to dampen it and applied my revlon photoready powder after I applied my liquid foundation. Photoready by the way works amazing without moisture spray, but with the product I saw that something was different. My face looked effortlessly flawless! Just to mention, I do not have a perfect skin. I have blemishes and redness all over. It actually made my face a perfect canvass. I was so excited that I always look in the mirror to see how smooth my face was.
You can use this after the whole makeup to remove excess powder to prevent caking and to make the face really glow. This can also be used as a face mister but is much better than Evian because this can really make the face glow.
So, all in all, this is my favorite product to tie up with my favorite foundation. You can buy this at any Cinema Secrets counter. They are usually found in SM dept Stores Watsons Area. I bought mine for 650 pesos but when I actually came back it is already 900. Whew! I know it is expensive but it is super worth it!
Thanks guys!

Barbie Inspired Photoshoot!

Hi guys! Last Nov. 14 me and my husband went to N.A. Parks and Wildlife for a photoshoot. Sharmaigne and Jin were our first ever BFFs to shoot and we really wanted to give them a chance for a solo and duo shots.
We came to the park a bit early to do their makeup. It was actually my first time to do makeup in a parking lot! Ok, Popsie requested for a Barbie inspired makeup that you can see in MAC for barbie. Sharmaigne wore the green and pink makeup that the morena barbie was wearing and Jin wore the pink/violet one.

Popsie really aimed for a very nature inspired fashion photography in a very subtle approach. We did not want harsh, strong projections and makeup for this shoot. So, we came up with this! This shoot was really successful and it really paid off as we have received a lot of compliments and a lot of upcoming photo shoots! Cross-fingers for that! We are really hoping that opportunities will come running towards us! yey! That’s all! Thanks! Godbless!

The Classic Pin-up Look with an edge!

I know guys that you have seen a lot of pin-up looks. I, myself, adored You tube gurus for creating classic pin-up looks that are easy to do.
This time, let us make it different somehow.

My version. Model: Ana Jordan
On the photo above, you can see that it is the classic one. The model, Ana, is pretty much fair so I used warm colors to really enhance her beauty. I used brown eyeshadow and some highlighter as she has a visible crease. The eyeliner! Geez, what would pin-up would look like without the cat-eye winged eyeliner! In this one I only did a semi-cat eye and more of a kitty eye winged eyeliner. The brows, as you can see, are colored light brown to really tone down the intensity of the eyeliner. Most pin-up looks use red lipstick, in my version though I used a red-orange lipstick from Revlon. Any red-orange will do. Also, I made sure that her skin is super flawless as a pin-up look must look really perfect!

Go ahead and try it yourself guys. This can be worn during evening occasion, a date night with your BF or your BFF. A flirty yet sophisticated that can really bring out your beauty! Some people could not carry the red lipstick but can surely rock out the winged eyeliner. So, maybe choose between the two that you might want to intensify. Maybe a red lipstick or a winged eyeliner or both!

Another tip, the will really stand out with an LBD or a Little Black Dress!

* with the hair, braid a 2-inch part on the sides then bring it together at the back then tie your whole hair together. For a more sophisticated look, curl the ends of your pony tail with a 1-inch curling iron.
