Simple katy Perry Inspired Glittery Eyes...

Hi guys!

It's time for another tutorial!

I am so in love with Katy Perry's eyes! She had the most versatile eyes I have ever seen! It's big, it's wide and it has a wonderful crease! I wished I have them also, but whatever! Let's do it in our eyes anyways!

here's the eye look!

So, prepare your kit Ladies!

For the eyes I used:

Shimmery Burgundy Eyeshadow

Matte Dark Brown Eyeshadow

Navy Blue Eyeshadow

Black Mascara

Black Liquid Eyelines

and a Silver glittery eyelines.

For the face I used:

Of course, a liquid foundation and powder for setting the foundation

a contour blush or a very dark foundation

A light pinkish blush

For the lips I used:

A coral lipstick

A lip balm

Of course, first prime your eyes to prevent the shadows from creasing. I used the burgundy color all over the lids. Then used the dark brown on the crease area. Then the dark navy on the outer V to create a nice depth on the eyes. The the trick is to use the glitter eyeliner on top of the burgundy leaving the upper part of the crease area. The burgundy color must still be peeping out to add some color. Let it dry first so it will not ruin the whole eye makeup. Then line the eyes with eyeliner and a few coats of mascara on your eyelashes.

There you have it hope you liked my idea on this popular look of Katy Perry.

Thanks guys!

Review: Le Faerie Cosmetics 120 Palette Twilight Edition

Hi Readers!

As I was building my makeup artist kit, I thought to myself that I am really having a hard time completing all eyeshadow colors. I've been buying single eyeshadows to save money and to really stick on to what I need the most. Then, I realized I am not really saving money thus It cost me a lot this past few years. I decided to buy a set of eyeshadows, the one that has the colors that I needed for my clients, then I came across this company based in Philippines which is the Le Faerie.

Here is their 120 Palette Twilight Edition Version 3
The colors are amazing! Amazing because it has the basic colors of the Rainbow. Plus, it has neutral ones which will save you another palette like the famous 88 Warm Palettes. It has vibrant colors like the green, gold and blue. It has mixed texture of Matte, Shimmery and Sheer. All in all the shadows are very pigmented, though there are some that needed lots of build up like the pink ones.

By the way, I bought mine in their sale items. It has one broken eyeshadow and the 119 shadows are fine. I got this for 850 plus 50 pesos for the shipping fee. One thing that's great also coming from La Faerie is that the item came sealed. So, it's 100% new. Also, it came to my doorstep after 2 days because I was late for the cut-off so they had to ship the item the next day but then it is still early!

I am so so so excited with this palette and honestly I have never been this excited with makeup ever. Haha! Will post lots and lots of creations using this palette!

See you later!

Reveal: Gorgeous Golden Brown eye shadow

Hi ladies! welcome back! I did a bit of makeup while my son sleeps so he wouldn't grab things that I was using like he did with my lipstick. You don't wanna know what he did with it. Way, way...funny. So, now here's the makeup!

I enhanced the photo a bit because my camera can't really get the actual shades and colors that I used. It looked washed out on the other picture as you will see. So, I kind of enhanced it to really show how it really looked like.  So I used colors from MAC which are my favorites the Gorgeous Gold, wedge, carbon and rice paper. I used the flesh color of Nichido's Party eyeliner to be the base color and to keep the powder eyeshadows set.

So, I used rice paper for the inner corners and the brow area. Then put on the wedge on the 2/3 of the lid. Top off with Cocoa Pearl from Nichido eyeshadow. Then of course on the crease and the outer V area put the carbon. I topped off again the Cocoa Pearl on the carbon to give some gradient effect.

I added the Gorgeous Gold on the inner thirds of the lid down to the middle part, topping off the black and brown. That would make a line and division that is kinda edgy. Then, use a fluffy blending brush to dust off hard edges. But not too much because it make lessen the opacity of the makeup you used. Then I put silver eyeshadow on the brow to add more drama and on to the inner lid.

Add silver again to the inner lower lash to brighten up the eyes. Add eyeliner. a pencil will do to keep the makeup atleast a little bit natural. You can use a liquid if you prefer. In my case I used the Nichido eyeliner in black. Then put on mascara!
A orangey-pinkish lipstick will do. Mine was Narcissus from Nyx. Then dabbed a little powder on top of it to keep it from melting.

One thing that is so edgy about this is the gorgeousness of the Gold from Mac. It kinda lookd like a gold with yellow-greenish tones in it that really changes at night. I recommend this look for some formal evening dinner date with love ones. You can wear it with your green or yellow dress or some neutral one and wear something Gold to accentuate your eyes.

Hey! I hope it helped you! I did when I hosted my cousin's debut and it really paid off! It lasted until the night ended. It's so gorgeous you will attract paparazzis! :)

It's natural, it's gorgeous, it's easy! Come on and try it.!

See you soon,
