Behind my Profile Photo

Hi people! It has been awhile since I ever opened this blog. I didn't have the time to buzz in and post some stuff about makeup or anything else. Anyways, today I'm going to tell all how I have come-up with my profile picture. It's too simple! It's to cheap! But I can assure you It'll be great for an everyday simple natural makeup.

So here is it. A very matte yet glowing simple makeup. Sorry for the picture I didn't have the time to take good quality ones... Next time.

First, I used the Elf Cover Everything Concealer in cream. By the way, I'll be doing a review about this product on the upcoming blog. So, It's a cream so be careful in applying this especially on the sides of your nose. It kinda turned out cakey on the first application.

Use a concealer brush of course or something that is similar to a foundation brush. Something soft and silky. This will help the concealer glide on to your face. And also, it will evenly spread the concealer on your face than your fingertips. Use the concealer under your eyes, on the sides of your nose, the sides of your lips, the chin, and in places where redness and zits are visible. And by the way, I used the Light one of this product because I have a fair skin. If you have a pretty pale one there is a yellowish version of it for that skin tone. There is also a medium one for darker ones. Tip: Make sure that the concealer that your going to buy is 2 tones lighter than your actual skin tone. And please try it on your jawline NOT on your wrist because your wrist can be different from the skin tone of your face.

Next, I settled the concealer using my Lancome Maquicake. This one is in Natural.

Using a fluffy blending brush, I buffed some foundation on top of the concealer to prevent the pores from showing up. This is pretty effective on me and I am using this technique quite long enough because I have big pores especially when I put on concealer and foundation. Also, a moisturizer can help. Try to put that on before putting anything on your face. Then quickly sweep some powder all over your face.

Of course it is important to contour your face. I used my Nature's Minerals from the Body Shop. This mineral foundation is not my actual skintone. I don't know when I was trying it in the store It was quite my color but when I came home It turned out really dark and yellowish. So I decided to just use it as a bronzer and it was quite impressive. I am using this as a bronzer now and It was good. Contour the sides of your nose, your cheeks, your temples, your jawline and your forehead.

Now, as a shimmer, I used my L.A. colors palette. It is actually an eye makeup but since its shimmery and pinkish, I used it as a shimmer for this look. If you have something like this, don't hesitate to use it as a shimmer. Your don't have to buy new ones if you can improvise using your old makeup. I also used the pinkish ones for a blush

Then, I used my Avon lipstick in Sheer Red. It was sheer and kind of silky so I didn't use gloss anymore.

So, there you have it, I hope it helped you in someway. These products are actually cheap and can be found in drugstores and department stores so try it on and I assure you your pockets won't get hurt...

See you soon...
